our first two shorts, TWENTY-SIX TAKES ON LIFE WITHOUT ALLEN and THE STUDY OF BUNKERS & MOUNDS IN A TEMPERATE CLIMATE (RELATIVELY SPEAKING) have now been shown at several festivals, including the locarno international film festival, the LA international short film festival, the indiefest chicago, the lisbon gay & lesbian film festival and the portello river festival in padua, italy.

third short wins award
written and directed by gary grant and produced by sebastian michael, DAISY’S LAST STAND follows the last few hours in the life of daisy (carole dance), an elderly woman who has recently been diagnosed with alzheimer’s.
thanks to everyone who voted for it in the best of boroughs audience award, which it won with one quarter or all votes cast!

little known fact:

following a one month shoot on locations that took in one of the most remote valleys in the swiss alps, a picturesque beach in cornwall, some of busiest landmarks in london and an old flat in budapest, we are now nearing completion with our first full length feature film, THE HOUR OF LIVING, in which a young man goes in search for the love of his father.

meanwhile, our second feature, SOHO NIGHT 9X9 is in development. having undergone a couple of readings, it’s slated to follow THE HOUR OF LIVING in 2013.
